This pounamu is a birds eye view of Ōnawe Peninsula in Akaroa Harbour. This is a very distinctive feature of the harbour, you cannot miss it when you are looking down from up on the hills. This represents connection with this place.
This pounamu links with page 4 and 5 of the book with the words, “Up to the top, to the view that won’t stop. Hills folding to sea, the day beckons me.”
See more about this pounamu at the post about it on the campbellcarving.co,nz website - Ōnawe Peninsula - Pounamu
See more about the entire set at this page about them at Sand in my Toes, Salt in my Nose - Set
If you would like to purchase internationally and/or have it delivered please contact me through my website campbellcarving.co,nz to organise this.
