This symbol on the toki represents the journey to slowing down. Life is often fast paced, jumping from one thing to another like a zigzag, and it takes time and often conscious effort to break out of that and truly slow down.
This pounamu links with page 12 and 13 of the book with the words, “Till we finally reach the most beautiful beach, where I slow my pace, with no need to race.”
See more about this pounamu at the post about it on the campbellcarving.co,nz website - Pōturi - Be Slow
See more about the entire set at this page about them at Sand in my Toes, Salt in my Nose - Set
If you would like to purchase internationally and/or have it delivered please contact me through my website campbellcarving.co,nz to organise this.
