Timatanga - Beginning. Pounamu
This pounamu represents the beginning of a journey. The downward v is symbolic of heading off in a direction, like a waka moving through the water with the water rippling away from the bow.
This pounamu links with page 2 and 3 of the book with the words, "Packed up and away we're off to the bay".
See more about this pounamu at the post about it on the campbellcarving.co,nz website - Timatanga - Beginning
See more about the entire set at this page about them at Sand in my Toes, Salt in my Nose - Set
If you would like to purchase internationally and/or have it delivered please contact me through my website campbellcarving.co,nz to organise this.
